United States Karate Academy has been in business since June 2007. We offer a range of martial arts classes for all age groups, starting with our Diaper Dragons program for children aged 18 months to 3 years, followed by the Tiny Tigers program for ages 3-6, our Young Lions program for ages 7-12, and a Teens/Adults program for students 13 and older. Master Sal Convento: Owner and Chief Master Instructor

Master Sal Convento is a distinguished Two-Time World Champion and a seasoned martial artist with over 36 years of experience. A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy, he served as a Surface Warfare Officer and Naval Aviator in the U. S. Navy for 10. 5 years. He holds a Master of Science in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Master's in Management from the University of Redlands.

As a Fourth Degree Master Instructor in World Tang Soo Do and a Fourth Degree Black Belt in Karate Do, under Master John Critzos, II at the United States Naval Academy, Master Convento leads the U. S. Karate Academy in San Diego, California, as the owner and Chief Master Instructor.
